Makhamaria fashion was born from a journey of passion, heritage, and a desire to bring Moroccan tradition to new horizons. It all began in 1984 when our founder first arrived in the Emirates and was struck by the absence of Moroccan caftans in the region. Yearning to stay connected with her roots, she designed her first caftan for herself, inspired by the timeless elegance of Moroccan craftsmanship.

With the help of a local tailor, her vision became reality. Friends and acquaintances were captivated by her unique designs, sparking a wave of requests that led her to start creating bespoke pieces from her home. What started as a small, personal project quickly grew into something much larger. The demand for these beautiful, handcrafted caftans planted the seeds for what would become Makhamaria fashion.

In 2003, the first boutique was opened, offering the Emirates a gateway to the beauty and grace of Moroccan fashion. This boutique was only the beginning. Driven by her love for the craft and the growing appreciation for Moroccan elegance in the region, our founder expanded, opening a second, larger store in Sharjah, followed by a third in the vibrant city of Dubai. Today, Makhamaria fashion stands as a symbol of cultural fusion and craftsmanship, combining traditional Moroccan aesthetics with modern sensibilities. With each stitch and every detail, we celebrate the beauty of Moroccan heritage while tailoring it to the tastes of women across the world.
